The charities of 2024
This year all the donations will be equally split between the three charities and the costs of the stream (each get 1/4).
World Wildlife Fund
WWF is the world’s largest conservation organization, with over five million supporters worldwide, working in more than 100 countries and supporting around 3,000 conservation and environmental projects. They have invested over $1 billion in more than 12,000 conservation initiatives since 1995.
WWF aims to “stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.
KWF Kankerbestrijding
KWF Dutch Cancer Society offers funding options for all research phases. In addition, KWF introduces guideline amounts for project budgets rather than maximum budgets; this means there is no longer a limit on the budget that can be requested for a project. Researchers can request what they need to take a new discovery/development through to the next phase. Furthermore, KWF will have the option of providing continuation funding in the event of promising results or to end funding early if the perspectives of a project or development change.
Local Charity
Local charity this year will be The Salvation Army, or in Dutch Leger Des Heils. If we raise a lot of money we might split the local donation into 2 seperate donations and pick a second charity!
Costs of the PPB
The costs of the stream are set to 25%. Costs of the stream are (not limited to):
- The partypoppers;
- Shipping costs;
- Payment provider costs;
- Location costs;
